My appreciation for art is in my blood. I grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of Mackinac Island and Door County, spending my formative years in my parents’ art shop, Scrimshanders. For 40 years, I watched them pour their hearts into a business built on creativity, craftsmanship, and hard work. That foundation taught me a crucial lesson: that beautiful design and smart business are two sides of the same coin.

After earning my Visual Arts degree, I deepened my technical knowledge working for a printer, but I ultimately returned to my creative roots. For more than 20 years as a designer, I've dedicated myself to helping others bring their visions to life. I thrive on collaboration and believe the best work comes from lifting up clients and teammates alike. My life has been a bittersweet and beautiful journey, making me a realistic optimist who is profoundly grateful for every opportunity to create and connect.
