THE SCRIMSHANDERS DAUGHTER

My appreciation for art is in my blood. I grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of Mackinac Island and Door County, spending my early years in my parents’ art shop, Scrimshanders. For 40 years, I watched them pour their hearts into a business built on creativity, craftsmanship, and hard work. That foundation taught me a crucial lesson: beautiful design and smart business don't have to compete. They are deeply interconnected, and when they work together, they elevate each other.

After earning my Visual Arts degree and expanding my technical knowledge at a printer, I returned to my creative roots. For over 20 years, I have dedicated my career as a designer to helping others bring their visions to life. I am a collaborative, detail-oriented person who is always ready to jump in and lend a hand. I want my work to make a meaningful impact, and I approach every creative challenge with the goal of lifting others up and being a "rainbow in someone else's cloud."
